Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) is a program that supports the overall quality of life for single soldier and unaccompanied soldiers. The BOSS program supports the chain of command by identifying quality of life (QOL) issues and concerns and by providing recommendations for QOL improvement.


Soldiers from the Fort Bragg BOSS program (pictured with Fayetteville Mayor Tony Chavonne) provide their time to assist the homeless at the April 2008 Homeless Stand Down with the Salvation Army.

The BOSS program encourages and assists single soldiers in identifying and planning for recreational and leisure activities. It provides an opportunity for single soldiers to participate in contribute to their respective army communities.

The Fort Bragg BOSS Program is actively recruiting outgoing, energized, dedicated, and, most importantly, motivated singles Soldiers (officers and enlisted) to assist our program efforts in providing the best entertainment, trips, parties, and volunteer services to the Soldiers of Fort Bragg.

At the 2007 DA BOSS Forum, the Fort Bragg BOSS program received the Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award for completing over 1500 volunteer service hours during 2006.
