Research has shown that aside from the strengthening of the parental bond, massage can help stimulate growth and weight gain, promote brain development and sensory awareness, improve digestion, muscle tone, circulation, relieve physical discomforts such as teething, gas and colic, and help a baby settle and sleep longer.
