Free USPS Packing Materials
The United States Postal Service is offering free packing materials to spouses and families of military members who are deployed overseas. To take advantage of this service call: 1-800-610-8734 (press 1 > 1 > request Care Kit #04) and they will send you free boxes, packing materials, tape and mailing labels. These products are to be used to mail care packages to service members. You can also access this information by going on the internet: http://supplies.usps.gov

Fitness Equipment Orientation
Fort Bragg’s Sports and Physical Fitness Branch will hold Fitness Equipment Orientations Oct. 16 through Nov. 15.  The orientations will be held on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. at Ritz-Epps Physical Fitness Center. This will be an opportunity for those who are not sure how to use fitness machines and want to feel more comfortable in the gym.

Paintball at Smith Lake

Impact Aid Information
During the October and November time frame, the local schools will be distributing Federal Surveys to students.  These Federal Surveys are used to determine the number of federally connected students to be applied towards Impact Aid.  Impact Aid is money distributed to impacted public school districts based on the number of federally connected students.  Military connected families can assist funding the school system by returning the federal surveys, it is also the only method in which Fort Bragg determines the number of military-connected students in the public schools.  Questions about Impact Aid and the Federal Survey can be directed to School Liaison Services at 432-1008.

Cleland Ice Rink
Broom Hockey alternative physical training available Tuesday - Friday, 6:30 - 8:30 a.m.
Available in one or two hour blocks.  Cost is $10 per hour and includes helmets and sticks for up to 11 players per team Reservations required. Call 396-5127.
