Hercules Fitness Center will be closed May 9th 2014, between the hours of 0500 and 1700 in support of the 2014 Fort Bragg Spouse Wellness Conference. Morning aerobics classes on May 9th have been cancelled and will resume at 1730 that evening. Posted 12:53:37 2014-04-07

* Unlimited monthly group fitness passes is available for sale at Leisure Travel Services in the Reilly Road PX Mini Mall.

 

**Group fitness classes at Linden Oaks are temporarily suspended due to instructor availability. We apologize for any inconvenience.

 

Single class tokens are available for purchase via token dispensers at the fitness center host sites.  Exact change in one, five, or ten dollar bills are required for token purchases.

 

Only passes are accepted at Corvias locations.

Class Descriptions 

  • ZUMBA

  • TRX® Suspension Trainer™
    Born in the U.S. Navy SEALS and developed by Fitness Anywhere®, Suspension Training® is a revolutionary method of leveraged bodyweight exercise. Class is lead by certified TRX instructors who will guide you through a rigorous workout.  Perform exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries, all at the intensity you choose.
  • Spinning or Group cycling classes…Lead by Certified Instructors
    Spinning is more than just a workout—it’s a comprehensive group cycling training program, designed to fit into a periodization schedule. Each session has a specific purpose and is carefully designed and timed to energize, challenge and empower students to achieve their health and fitness goals in 40 minutes. “A training session has direction, purpose and heart rate guidelines… always individually paced and conducted under guidelines relevant to the goals and framework you have established.” – Johnny G
  • Muscles/Sculpt
    A certified group fitness trainer will educate and lead participants in a strength training class using a variety of equipment to include barbells, resistance bands, stability ball,  or Bosu , that will safely and effectively improve muscle strength and endurance. * Same class goals but class formats vary by instructors’’ -check them all out and find your favorite!
  • Step Aerobics
    Is an intense aerobics class using the Step. Step aerobics burns 30 – 60 % more calories than traditional aerobics with particular emphasis on hips, thighs, abdominals, and buttocks. (Basic Step-simplified choreography)
  • Boot Camp/BodyBlast
    Interval training alternating various body sculpting moves and aerobic exercises on the step, with barbells, bands, or weights.  The ultimate body shaping, fat burning, and strength training class to hit the fitness center since step! Same class goals but class formats vary by instructors’’ -check them all out and find your favorite!
  • Kick-Box
    Get a kick out of getting fit, and burn up to 400 calories per hour! Kickboxing is aerobic exercise combined with boxing and traditional martial arts movements. Strengthen & tone your muscles with a variety of punches, strikes and kicks to develop killer legs, toned arms and abs while giving your heart a great cardio workout.
  • Yoga – (Hatha-Fitness Yoga)
    The main emphasis is on blending philosophies of physical and mental conditioning through stretching and relaxation. Yoga increases flexibility, while building strength and stamina through various poses and postures. Yoga also helps improve posture, rejuvenate energy level, relieve stress, and reduce fatigue and/or chronic pain.
