This facility offers year-round skating not only as a form of exercise, but as an affordable and constructive family leisure activity. It is the only ice rink year round within a 60-mile radius that provides year-round ice skating. This facility has a comprehensive ice skating program to include open skating, group and private lessons, figure skating clubs, parties (schools, units, and special interest groups) and private ice rental. This facility is easily accessible for both military and civilian patrons.

Group lessons
45-minute classes are held once per week and run for six weeks. Children, from age 4 and adults are welcome. Cost is $65 per person and includes skate rental and five free public skating passes. For more information, please call (910) 396-5127.
Private Lessons
Private ice skating lessons are available at Cleland Ice Rink. Call (910) 396-5127 for registration and price information.

Register at Cleland Ice Rink or at CYSS Central Enrollment located on the 4th Floor of the Soldier Support Center. Open to Active Duty/Reitred Military, DOD Civilians, Family Members and Civilians (Public).
All Active Duty/Reitred Military, DOD Civilian players must have a current CYSS registration card to be eligilbe to enroll in a Youth Sport. The CYSS Registration Care is free. CYSS registration and renewal must be done at Solider Support Center, 4th Floor, Bldg 4-2843 Normandy Drive, Fort Bragg, NC 28310. CYSS Registration requirements.
Civilians can register at their local Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation Center or at Cleland Ice Rink.
Multiple child discounts are available for children registered in the same sport. Please inquire about Army Family Covenant initiatives to see if your child qualifies for free team sports.
Army Standars require ALL Children in Army Youth Sports programs to have a current sports physical on file with the Youth Sports Office prior to allowing children to practice.

Sports Physicals are good for a one year period.

Army standards do not allow Youth Sports to substitute school, child care, or band physicals for sports physicals. Please use the Youth Sports Physical Form which is provided by CYSS Registration or Youth Sports.

Please schedule your child’s physical with you TMC or Womack Pediatrics in advance to ensure your child can be placed on a team without any delays.

Fort Bragg Youth Services (YS) Sports and Fitness needs YOU to coach today’s youth! All training provided including National Youth Sports Coaches Certification (NYSCA) Training, Special Needs Training, How to Recognize Child Abuse Training, and Character Counts Training! Skate & Shoot is available for hockey players of all ages to work on their fundamental skills. Full equipment is highly recommended. Helmet and gloves required.

Broomball

Broomball is available to supplement physical fitness program for units on Fort Bragg. Broomball may only be scheduled Thursday and Friday mornings from 6:30-7:30 and 7:30-8:30 for $90 per hour. Units or groups must schedule broomball ice rentals at least 72 hours in advance.

The primary focus of the Inline Skating Rink operation is to offer a safe and fun environment for recreational, unsupervised inline skating, during posted hours of operation.
Available to all of the following Patrons, Active duty (AD) military personnel, ready reserve members, retired military personnel, eligible family members, US DOD APF/NAF civilians, DOD contract personnel and the general public.
Minors under the age of 13 and must be accompanied by an authorized patron 18 years or older.
General public Hours of Operation:
Monday: 0900-1800
Tuesday: 0900-1100, 1400-1800
Wednesday: 0900-1800
Thursday: 0900-1100, 1400-1800
Friday: 0900-2200
Saturday: 1500-2100
Sunday: 1500-2100
Unit PT Hours:

Thursday: 0630-0730, 0730-0830, 1130-1330

Facility closure:
Facility may be closed at the discretion of management if weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances determine the use of the facility to be unsafe or inoperable.
Use of the inline skating facility is at your own risk, skating sessions are unsupervised.
