Some important things to know about moving into the Fort Bragg area with school-aged children.

1. It is important that as a parent you shop for a school before you shop for a home.

2. Two-thirds of military families live off post and their children attend public schools.

3. If you live on Fort Bragg, your child will attend schools on the installation with the exception of high school.

4. The host high school for Fort Bragg is E.E. Smith High School.  If you live on Linden Oaks, the host high school is Overhills High School.
