Hoke County High School 21st Century Media Center Hoke County High School has a new renovated state of the art, 21st century media center. Highlights include Wi-Fi, Custom made furniture, new desk top computers, Computer pod stations, new books, copier/fax/scanner, outdoor patio (wi-fi), laptop check out for students, e-books, electronic card catalogue, evenings and weekends available for students and community
BEGINNERS DAY Some county school districts and individual schools are holding beginner days for student entering Kindergarten. Here is the current list:
- Cumberland County Schools: April 20, 2012
- Hoke County Schools: March 5-9, 2012
- Moore County Schools: April 20, 2012 (Please check for confirmation of date on http://www.mcs.k12.nc.us in February)
REGISTERING A STUDENT WITH AN IEP AT HARNETT COUNTY SCHOOLS All new families registering a student with an IEP in Harnett County Schools must enroll at the Harnett County Schools Central Office (1008 South 11th Street, Lillington, NC) and NOT at the district school. For questions, please contact Cubia Massey at 910-893-8151, ext 214.
CUT-OFF DATES FOR KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT! According to House Bill 150 (Every Child Ready To Learn), new cut-off dates for Kindergarten enrollment has been set starting school year 2009-2010. For all North Carolina public schools, the child must be age 5 (five) by August 31. However, for Fort Bragg (DDESS) Schools, the child must be 5 (five) by September 1.
