Residing in Temporary Housing OFF POST
Residing in Temporary Housing ON POST
- If you are residing in temporary housing ON POST, and you are able to obtain a 90-day letter from housing (stating that you will be government quarters within 90 days), you are eligible to register your children in Fort Bragg Schools, K-8th grade. If you have a high school student, your child will attend EE Smith High School (if you are living on Fort Bragg) or Overhills High School (if you are living in Linden Oaks)
- If you are residing in temporary housing ON POST, and you are UNABLE to obtain a 90-day letter from housing or you plan to rent/purchase a residence off post, you are INELIGIBLE for Fort Bragg Schools. You must enroll your children in the following schools:
-Elementary School: WT Brown Elementary School (2522 Andrews Church Road, Spring Lake, NC 28390 | 910-497-1258) Transportation is not provided -Middle School: Spring Lake Middle School (612 Spring Avenue, Spring Lake, NC 28390 | 910-497-1175) Transporation is not provided. -High School: Ezekial Ezra Smith High School (1800 Seabrook Road, Fayetteville, NC 28301 | 910-483-0153) Transportation is provided from several bus stops on Fort Bragg, please contact Cumberland County School Transporation for the nearest bus stop: 910-678-2359)
- Cumberland County School will require an approved Emergency Housing form to enroll in school. This form is available either through Picerne Housing or Fort Bragg Schools.
