 Smith Lake Photo Gallery
Smith Lake is open to the public. Reservations are not required except for camper cabins. If unreserved, cabins are rented on a first-come, first-serve basis. The park is also home to mountain bike trails, paint ball, and the riding stables facility and the beach offers a playground for children with slides and swings, a sandy shore and a swimming area.
Smith Lake has dressing facilities, volleyball, beach pavilions for rent, and floating trampolines in the swimming area for children. Lifeguards on duty during operating hours (12-7pm); lake is only accessible when lifeguards are on duty. The snack bar is open on weekends.

Small Cabin Large Cabin
Enjoy the tranquil setting of our rustic cabins in the midst of North Carolina's long-leave pine tree forest.
Our small cabins sleep up to 4 and are equipped with 1 double bed, 1 set of bunk beds, a small fridge and microwave, a table and 4 chairs. ($35.00 per night)
Our large cabins sleep up to 8 and feature 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 1 set of bunk beds), a loft (futon sleeper), a living area (futon sleeper), a full size bathroom and kitchenette with a table and 4 chairs ($85.00 per night, a minimum 2 night stay is required).
All cabins are air-conditioned/heated. Smoking is not permitted in the cabins.
NO PETS are allowed. Violators will be asked to remove the pet immediately, an additional $100.00 fee will be charged.

Pavilions
The facility offers covered pavilions, courts for basketball and volleyball, horseshoe pits and picnic tables with barbecue grills. Pavilion rental for military units depend on size of unit: $100 to $350. Reservations taken for large groups. On weekends, everyone else who has paid a gate fee (which includes beach access) may use pavilions at no extra charge. Pavilion Rental Agreement & Park Map.

Army Travel Campground
The year-round travel camp has hook-ups for recreational vehicles as well as small and large rental cabins and is open to active duty personnel, military retirees and Department of Defense civilians on a space-available basis. Reservations are available for even number sites 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 and pull through sites 6a - 9a. Park office hours are Mon-Sun 8am-4pm, minus holidays during the winter season. Mountain Bike Trails
The mountain bike trail will be closed for maintenance the 3rd Sunday of each month. Come out & help maintain our trails! Meeting time 9 am, 3rd Sunday of each month.
Bike Trails are open year round. There is a beginner, intermediate, and advanced trail, which can be ridden as individual segments or all together (8 miles total). Annual passes are $20 and day passes are $5. Click here for flyer.

Paintball Adventure Sports
