The Entertainment Activities Branch offers duty amusement and entertainment to the active duty soldiers, family members, retirees, DoD civilians and general public.

The Fort Bragg Fair - This 18-day event is held at the fairgrounds in May each year and attracts over 60,000 people. Families enjoy rides, games, the kiddy rappel and jump towers, a flea market, live nightly entertainment, free parking and great food. There is also a special admission price for soldiers and family members. The Fort Bragg Fair will be held.

Fourth of July Celebration - The independence Day Celebration is held on July 4th and attracts over 50,000 people every year. The celebration includes rides, food and craft vendors, a flag ceremony, freefall demonstrations, live entertainment, and a huge fireworks show. 

Oktoberfest - This 11 day event is held at the fairgrounds October each year and attracts over 40,000 people. Oktoberfest offers live nightly entertainment, games, a flea market, the kiddy rappel and jump towers, over 28 rides and an international food court. There is also free parking and a special admission price for soldiers and family members.

The Soldier Show - This event, which is normally held in November, is a song and dance show that is comprised of soldier who are selected from throughout the Army. They travel for a 6-month time frame showing in states across the U.S. as well as overseas. The Broadway-style show features numerous selections ranging from rap to opera. There are two performances, both of which are free and open to the public.

The Holiday Tree Lighting - This ceremony kicks off the holiday season in December at the Community Center with fun, family activities. Features include caroling with the 82nd Airborne Division Chorus, hot chocolate and cookies, climbing wall, kiddy bouncer, and lighting of the tree by the XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg Commanding General. The event culminates with children meeting Santa and receiving gift bags.


Picnic In the Grove - Each November the library on Randolph Street holds a free picnic in its shady grove. Characters such as Curious George, Raggedy Ann and Andy, Cookie Monster, Tweety Bird and others read children their favorite books then stick around to share a free lunch and sign autographs.

The Children's Festival - with an attendance of over 3,000, the Children's Festival is held at the fairgrounds in April each year. The festival includes kiddy rides, military equipment displays, roaming characters, food and much more.

Party in the Park - a festival for the whole family. Enjoy good music, food and giveaways! The party will be held at Bowley Elementary School playground at Knox & Randolph Sts.

Family Flix - Watch a recent release, family movie on the lawn of the Throckmorton Library grove. Bring a blanket and/or lawn chair. Refreshments available.
