Children in the Facility We have a small waiting room that is often full of cats and dogs together--an environment in which children may be at high risk of being injured. Children are allowed in our facility at the discretion of the VTF staff; if the waiting room is full, or you unable to control your animal or your children, you may be asked to reschedule. Shirt and shoes are required at all times within the VTF.

PCSing Overseas 1. Contact the VTF as soon as you are notified that you are PCSing to find out what your pet needs prior to departure. *Be sure to ask about shipping and quarantine requirements; some countries have strict import requirements and may require more than six months preparation time to ensure that all requirements can be met and health certificates issued on time.* Overseas Requirements 2. Schedule appointments for required testing, vaccinations, microchipping and health certificates. ** Please note that if you use a civilian veterinarian to obtain a health certificate or are going to the UK or Australia, the health certificate must be co-signed by the USDA Veterinarian in Raleigh, which takes extra time, so you will need to plan accordingly. 3. Pick up your pet's records when PCSing to your next duty station. If you no longer own the pet please notify the VTF so your record can be properly disposed of.
